We've done a lot of cruises but this was our first Disney Cruise and it will not be our last! It was perfect for our 7 year old but we, adults, also thoroughly enjoyed it. Disney certainly knows how to entertain you. It's pricy but I think it is worth saving money to do Disney over other cruise lines. Service was a top notch!!
Embarkation

We had booked concierge room so the embarkation was very smooth. We showed up around 11:30am and after going through securities and registration, having waited in a separate waiting area for about 10 minutes, we were on board the ship by a little after noon.

Food and Dining

Food was actually better than I expected. A lot of reviews on Disney Cruise had relatively mediocre waiting for food but I thought the food in general in the main dining room was pretty decent - for being free. Menu was different each day so we got to enjoy varieties of food - from meat to seafood - as well, which was nice. They also had pretty decent selection of wines (for extra fee). We also tried the Remy's one night. We did wine paring. While it was a very nice experience with great view of sunset, I did not think the food was worth the price (flavor was missing).
Onboard Activities

There are only 2 main pools and they are tiny so needless to say, they were very crowded on sea days. We loved Aqua Duck ride but since that is only water activity, other than the pools, hot tubs and splash areas, a wait time was very long. We went later in a day and also on the port days to avoid the lengthy line. Since Disney ships are relatively small compared to other cruise lines' newer ships, onboard activity areas are somewhat limited (but they do have a lot of other entertainment to offer so this was not a major issue for us). We enjoyed onboard detective game. We were late to book our cruise so we could only book Bibidi Babidi boutique for our daughter but she had an amazing time!
Entertainment

Disney knows how to entertain you. A quality of featured shows was excellent - much, much better than other cruise line's shows. We loved pirate's night with great fireworks and after party. Our kid loved silent disco and family karaoke. Also, I am not sure if this should be under food but the entertainment at Animator's Palate was so much fun!!!
Children's Programs

Our kid liked the kid's clubs but not as much as other cruise ships' programs. Other ship had kids' program's show at the end of the cruise, which I recommend Disney Cruise also incorporate.
Service and Staff

Service of staff throughout the ship was fantastic. We felt very special and welcomed.
Ship Quality

Ship was maintained well and we felt safe. Certain area was crowded at time but staff maintained it well. We loved how "Disney" theme was incorporated throughout the ship.
Cabin / Stateroom

Paying extra to get 1BR Suite was worth the price. A room had 2 full bathrooms which was really nice. We enjoyed a huge jacuzzi. A room was always kept so clean and neat. A bed was very comfortable and bathrooms were stocked with high quality items. It was extremely comfortable.
Ship tip
We brought a few matching Disney themed t-shirts and everyone had a same idea!!! If you want to get into full Disney mood, I highly recommend it! Also, we did Disney beach excursion at Grand Cayman and I do not recommend it (long wait to get a ride, small and crowded beach with terrible service).
