Review summary

The cruise itself was very smooth sailing. I can't help but think that some things would have been different pre-Covid. Personally, we are DVC members, but we probably would not do another Disney cruise.

Food and Dining

We were disappointed in the food most of the time. Some items in the MDR were very good, but there wasn't a consistency. Picnic on Castaway was not good at all, overcooked and dried out. MDR was too gourmet.

Onboard Activities

We watched two movies in the theater. Did a couple trivia. Need more adult activities.

Entertainment

We watched the Beauty and the Beast show. We missed live musicians.

Service and Staff

All staff we encountered were very friendly.

Ship Quality

The ship was clean and well kept. We thought the layout of the ship was cut-up and confusing and tighter than other ships we have sailed on. I found it confusing that I couldn't readily identify which deck I was on when using the stairs.

Cabin / Stateroom

Our cabin was always clean. Our cabin and balcony were smaller than balcony roomson other ships.

Ship tip

Join Facebook groups for your sail date. We were very disappointed in communication about our trip. They have a Pirate night we wouldnot have known about except for Facebook. Be very familiar with the app, its all you have.

Castaway Cay (Disney Private Island)

The island was nice. Hot. Beaches. We did the Glass Bottom Boat tour. Lunch was not good. Soft drink cups are too small.

Easy. Kept our luggage and left ship with first group.

Do you feel that Disney has lost its shine and are trying to be on the safe side? We leave this Sunday and will see how it goes..
