As usual Thomas Hauser steered us in the right direction with our room selection and packages we purchased. It’s nice to be able to deal with someone as knowledgeable as Thomas to get things lined up right. It was a great cruise on a great ship.
Embarkation
4 out of 5
Embarkation was a bit chaotic not due to Princess but something to do with the tide coming in and when the ship could get in to the pier. Was delayed a couple hours so there were lots of people milling around and lots of walking.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
Excellent. We ate dinner in the Skagway Reserve section each night. We had breakfast and lunch in the Marketplace for the most part which was also very good.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
Saw a lot of bands and activities in the Piazza, central main area of the ship.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
Stage shows were very good as were the musicians.

Waiters and rom stewards were top notch. Good service and great to deal with.

Cabin / Stateroom

Couldn’t be better. Nice size, good layout and very well kept.
Ship tip
The Discovery Princess is one of the nicest ships we’ve cruised on. Only 2 years old and very up to date.
