Review summary

A harmonious blend of relaxation and entertainment. We thoroughly enjoyed the immersive 360-degree experience and the delightful balcony dining. The Cruise Director's efforts made this journey exceptionally enjoyable, and the entire crew ensured our safety and made us feel warmly welcomed.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
It was an exceptionally smooth and efficient embarkation process. It took merely 11 minutes from the time we entrusted our luggage to the porter and stepped onto the ship. (I checked our picture timestamps) We have medallion and were on the green lane with no wait.

Ultimate Balcony Dining

5 out of 5

We had a delightful dinner on our forward-facing balcony on deck 16, with the breathtaking San Diego skyline serving as a picturesque backdrop. The server and food runner provided exceptional service throughout the meal, about 90 mins.Initially, we felt a bit uncomfortable when they set up the table and had a photographer ready to capture the moment, but it was alright after you seated. The culinary experience was truly remarkable, featuring an array of delectable appetizers, a refreshing salad, succulent crab cakes, tender fillet mignon, mouthwatering lobsters, and an assortment of delectable desserts. The table was adorned with beautiful roses, and we were graciously provided with a welcome cocktail, two bottles of champagne to complement the meal.

The Ocean Terrace

The sushi here is the best we have ever eaten on any cruiseship. Although we had to wait for 30 minutes before the restaurant opened and skipped breakfast. we were seated immediately at the sushi bar. The service was excellent, and the servers and chefs were very friendly and welcoming, despite the fact that the restaurant was very busy and there were many hungry customers waiting. I only wish they had served miso soup to warm our stomachs before we started eating all those rolls. 😃

World Fresh Marketplace

There are so many options to choose from. It's like a global food court. If you can't find something you like here, sorry, but i think it's on you.

Only attended during the trivia. We love it, not good at it, but at least we learned.

All were great, in my opinion! They seem to give 110% performance every night! 👍💪 #dedication #passion #hardwork

Service and Staff

Our CD and his team were excellent! Cole and Oz were particularly entertaining during the Majority Rule game show. Everyone we encountered was great. We have no complaints.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
The ship is clean and beautiful, but some of the design and layout choices are not to my personal taste. The promenade walk on deck 7 seems oddly placed and leads to dead ends. The smoking section is on the arf next to the gym and above buffet. 😑

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
A spacious balcony, equipped with three comfortable lounge chairs and footrests, We have also bought along a hammock, providing the perfect opportunity to unwind and soak up the sun in the beautiful cities of San Diego and Ensenada.

Ship tip

Taking stairs is faster than the elevator. I've tried it multiple times from deck 7 to our room on deck 16. While my wife took the lift. And try 360 experience if available.

Ports of call

San Diego, California

We had a wonderful time exploring the area. We took a leisurely stroll from the pier to the Seaport Village, then crossed the convention center to the Gaslamp District, then enjoyed a delicious lunch at the ASA Bakery. In total, we walked over 6 miles.

Disembarkation

We had a designated Walkoff 1 with our luggage, and the meeting time was at 7:15 a.m. We arrived at the meeting place at 7:05 and disembarked from the ship promptly. Our Medallion was scanned once more, and then our faces were scanned before we exited the terminal. It was a very easy process.
