We ate in main dining room one time. The food there was very good..we ate pizza at slices. We enjoyed it and thought that pizza was better than Royal or Carnival. We liked the International Cafe but the food was not fresh and some tasted like it had been sitting there. We did not care for Salty Dog Gastro pub. I wish we would have skipped it. The buffet had a variety of food but found a lot of it be bland.

I gave this a 3 star. Most of the staff were great. We had issues with our room steward. On night one, at 9:00 pm our room steward knocked once and walked into our room. We did not call him and was not expecting him. We did not have a chance to say or do anything before he walked in. He was bringing in a new schedule for the following day. Both my husband and I were shocked he just walked in. I complained but nothing happened. I asked the staff if this is normal behavior, and they said no. This was my 7th cruise ( 1st with princess ) and never have I had a negative expiernce with a room steward before.

Ship Quality

The ship was gorgeous. I felt that some areas were not kept up very well. We stayed in a mini suite, and the shower curtain had mold on it.

Our cabin was very spacious. We had a lot of storage.

Ship tip

Bring your patience when using the elevators. They take a very long time. You can coffee in other places besides the international Cafe. There is also a self serve soda machine aft deck 16.

Thanks for the info regarding your room steward. It appears that more recently other passengers on different ships reported the same thing happened to them. There's ways to help prevent this from happening again. I personally use a little door lock jammer, a door wedge and door alarm (not all at the same time)on hotel doors so they most likely work on cruise ship doors too.
