Review summary

Discovery princess is one of the most beautiful ships I have ever seen being only about 11 months old the blue cards have beat her to hell all the chairs need to be steam cleaned already the dance floor in the Vista needs to be replaced but she is an absolutely gorgeous girl loud she's loud there is not one quiet spot aboard her unless you don't go out of your cabin

Embarkation

5 out of 5
My boarding group was A at 11:00 easy cheesy from San Pedro Pier 91. Into the lounge for some orange juice and pastry

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Surprisingly on the food no real complaints except for in specialty dining the steak restaurant is no longer worth it as they are no longer serving Sterling meat

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
As always the entertainment on board is Top Notch the crew is very overworked and there is not enough of them when they pack the boat

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Top Notch entertainment unfortunately this was a West Coast Comedy Tour and the comedians were well we'll just say they were not headliners

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Unfortunately there are not enough staff on board think about this what is the 700 more people on this boat than on a grand class and they have the same support staff levels as a grand class boat this is exactly why I've been calling for John pageants firing

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Well there are a few things I would do different in the sanctuary pool where it should be quiet because it's a sanctuary they put a bar so you have the over 21 children now disturbing the sanctuary yeah I know

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
This was just a standard Deluxe balcony had a queen size bed a loveseat desk TV nothing special

Ship tip

Please don't it's absolutely the most gorgeous ship in the fleet but this boat is loud everywhere there is no quiet spot this boat is the boat that they're trying to get the generation y with....

If by blue card you mean first time cruisers, Iā€™m sure others were using those chairs

Thanks for your review

The cruises to Ensenada tend to be loud party ships. I am on the sailing with you to Cabo. Some were loud. But not too bad. šŸ¤žšŸ»šŸ¤žšŸ»
