We booked this cruise because of the shift in itinerary -- included Sea of Cortez (Loreto and La Paz). We went as a good sized group -- 7 couples, so we were ready for a blast. 2 Disappointments. First, missing an excursion on Whale Sharks. Apparent;ly, this is constrained by seasonal conditions, so you should book far in advance. Second, missing Loreto entirely -- key part of why we chose this itinerary. On the flip side, we had a blast in Mazatlan... half of the group went into town, half went to Stone Island.

Great port team, but San Diego really made this better

As with most ships, there's something for everyone. Being with a group, we spent a lot of time poolside, ping pong, mexican train, ...

Nice Casino, but unfriendly (winning-wise) to anyone in the group who ventured in.

Great Aft/corner cabin. The one downside is that on a couple of occasions we had exhaust fumes on our Balcony and could no even leave the door open. I'd noticed the same on the aft pool deck/bar on Aloha. We'd never experienced this before. Maybe the weather conditions?
Regardless, this cabin afforded us views aft and starboard. Wonderful.
Sailing out of San Diego is great. Easy to get to port and plenty of affordable over-nighter hotels to stay in. Plenty of things to do, if you're staying a little longer.
Not my favorite port in the Mexican Riviera lineup. "Tourist trap" comes to mind. The Marina area is awash with pushy salesmen. Beaches are just ok with hotels and restaurants dominating the main swimming shore. Lovers (and Divorce) Beach is worth a visit. We are considering the 'locals' beach for a future visit.
I'd like to find a great (ethical) massage place. Seems like most we've peeked at promote the happy ending.
This trip we had some friends who'd never been to Cabo, so we did some touristy stuff, like Giggling Marlin, etc.
