The food in all dining rooms is well prepared, well cooked and delicious! The Italian ‘Sabatinis’ was a special favourite of mine! We tried the Sushi too (we were in Japan after all!!) The dining room buffet was always well stocked and fresh and the waiting staff were so efficient.

The entertainment was fantastic! I have seen similar in the WestEnd and Broadway! The dancers and singers are so polished and professional. One of the dancers ‘Beth’ sang a song one night ‘If someone like you’. It was beautiful and shows that these are talented performers who have many strings to their bows!

The service you receive on The Diamond Princess is amazing. I have to mention our waiter Ritish. Nothing was too much trouble for Ritish. He was always cheerful and will to help. He interacted with everyone and started our days off with a huge smile!

Sorry for late reply to questions! We didn’t do any organised excursions as we found local travel very straightforward and easy to use. Everyone is extremely helpful in Japan! The shuttle bus which is specifically there at each port takes people to the main tourist attractions. Hope that helps!

Great to hear positive reviews as we are on the Diamond Princess Japanese cruise March 2019. That will be our first Princess cruise and If we like it, we have the South Asia cruise in our sights for 2020!
