Review summary

From the moment we entered the area to leave our luggage to disembarkation, we had a wonderful time on the Dawn Princess. Everything moved along smoothly and quickly during the time we were getting our papers checked and received our room cards. Everyone was friendly and helpful. No matter what your question might be, which ever member of the crew was nearby could answer it. The cabins were very nice and we were treated like royalty. When our cabin steward found out we were cruising for the first time he made sure we always had everything we needed. We were greeted each morning with a smile. We were impressed with the actions taken to help prevent illness among the passengers and crew. Waterless handwashing was done before entering the dining rooms or buffet, and reminders were given several times to wash your hands when using the bathroom, etc.. A person who bypassed the handwashing at the buffet was asked to go back and wash before a plate was handed to her.

Pros: There is not one things that stands out as exceptional, because our expectations were met and more. We could not have asked for a better experience first time out.
