Review summary

We met some friends that we are still in contact with 10 years later. The style of the ship wasn't in great agreement with us. We wished we had cruises on Royal, and that was made worse when we were docked next to a royal ship

We did transfer from air to port. Once dropped off, we were stuck in lines for over 3 hours, most of that in the Florida sun. No shade, no water. Once inside, it made us feel like cattle in a line.

Food all had a noticeable after taste that wasn't pleasant. Main dining room was ok, buffet was lacking.

Cabin was roomy with a nice balcony. There was a bad vibration and a shaking the whole time underway. It caused sickness.

Ship tip

Crown was a decent ship. I'm sure it is a preference for many cruisers, but it wasn't our taste.

Getting off the ship was ok. We did transfer from port to air. Once dumped at FLL, it went into chaos.

I was on the Crown in January and had a great time, and if you are so miserable nit sailing on. Royal ship,nperhaps not booking with other cruise lines would be more prudent. Don't blame other cruise lines when you are boarding with a negative mindset.

Have sailed that class of ship in rooms from aft to forward, and while aft had some vibrations, it was not that bad. But 10 years ago, there may have been some issues then with the ship. Too bad you forgot what room you were in.

My husband and I will be taking the Crown Princess in April so with that, I will have to see for myself and I cruised on the ruby in 2013 so this will be my second cruise with Princess after so many years. We are going to Santa barbara, San pedro, San Diego and Ensenada Mexico so I'm looking forward to this very much.
