Generally the cabin was fine, but the carpeting in our cabin was dirty to the point of wondering if we should walk on it barefoot.

Last year was our first princess cruise and we chose crown too. We initially found it very different to Cunard but settled in easily. Yes there are queues and the ship is a little tired but we found it immaculately clean and with impeccable service. We have booked again this year but on sapphire instead.
