Review summary

This family cruise was ideal for both the fellowship and the relaxation ( much needed). We took advantage of the spa massages and the spa pool area. Only Antigua and Amber Cove were new stops for us. We did not take excursions at the ports we had previously visited but did spend time talking to the locals about their storm recovery efforts. Each of the family members were able to do exactly what they wanted on board, and we all spent far too much time eating. It was an ideal break from our hectic lives.

This was well organized and it all went smoothly. We sailed right through the priority boarding line. We were on board before they were even ready to take boarding photos, etc.

A great selection and one side or the other seemed to always be open. A good spot for breakfast or lunch as it allowed everyone the opportunity to choose something there or bring pizza or hot dogs or ice cream from the deck.

Everyone was friendly and helpful and upbeat. They all appear to be happy people.

We had three balcony cabins next to each other and had our balconies open to each other so we could visit back and forth without going into the hallway. Our cabin steward was extremely efficient and unobtrusive and seemed to sense our needs far before we could voice them.

Ship tip

Make your reservations for a special time for dinner early as they fill up quickly.

Disembarkation

Again, they are so well organized at this port that all went totally smoothly, even with 2 customs agents not showing up for work. Bags were easily located and the whole process took only a few minutes. It took us longer to get our shuttle back to the motel for our car.
