Review summary

Meeting new friends was the highlight of my first and last cruise with Princess. We met someone wonderful new friends. The cruise started with a 4 hour wait to get on the ship. We order multiple items for each other because it was our anniversary. The items either did not show up or were wrong. The robes did not make it to our room until Tuesday night. The alcohol that was to be delivered to the room did not make it there until Tuesday. One night I did not have dinner the food was so bad. The room service breakfast was terrible. We spent more time at Customer Service than we did enjoying the trip. Princess did not give us any discounts or offer any compensation or extras for all our troubles.

Ship tip

Tip - clean the ship up and give your staff additional customer service training and not to be rude. Most of the staff acted as if they already had their tip and did not give the passengers the service they deserved.

I tried Princess once, the food was bad the staff got rude when I said the food was bad. That was my first and last Princess cruise, I have done over 20 cruises since then on other cruise lines.

I feel bad for you on this cruise. I can attest that (that) is not the princess way. An EXTREME set of circumstances had to come into play in the totality of your experiences. I have experienced one or two of those but Princess typically jumps on those quickly. I praise princess so I must scold them when things like this happen.

sorry for your troubles. personally we have never had an issue and we have sailed princess 7 times. we to had a sudden wait at the port. ..but that is because coast Guard did surprise visit and no one was allowed on...but rather safe than sorry
