Review summary

This is the 4th time I've sailed on Princess and always thought the cruise line was very good but this time it was a let down. The food was mediocre, the wine selection was non existing, the servers didn't seem happy to be there (in fact there was grumbling over heard) and the cabin attendant was ok but not really on top of things. The post disappointing was that of the port we visited all but 2 had to be tendered in and out with long waits on disembarking and embarking; it was awful, disorganized and uninformative. I don't think I will be using the Princess Cruises again.

Have to comment on the above . Been with Princess 15 times and the crew and staff have always been an absolute pleasure . Treat them with the respect they deserve and they give back in bucketloads. They work ridiculous hours for not very much away from family . Just finished trip on Crown Princess from Valparaiso to Buenos Aries. Fantastic trip got to Antarctica and Falklands and round Cape Horn . Ship was great , food fantastic . Don't get why people complain

Agree with both comments above. We are experienced cruisers and have found common courtesy goes a long way! No control over tender ports. If you have control over your time, wait until most of excursions have left; otherwise, have to wait your turn like everyone else.

Having sailed with Princess 4 times and again this year we have never had any problems with any of them, we always look after our steward's and give them a tip when we meet them and a £2.00 tip each night which we leave on the pillow for the chocolates.

well when you booked the cruise the itinerary would have shown that the ports were tender. i have been on princess 7 times and never had and issue. yeah sometimes some workers may have a bad day. .. but don't we all. i have gotten to know some of them and they work for months away from loved ones with less pay then we would be able to fathom. some have said it is especially hard when the guests treat them like dirt...yes their job is to wait on us but they still deserve respect. ..I have witnessed some people treat the staff horrible and that would bring anyone down...or perhaps you got a crew that was on the last part of their contract. . still love princess
