Review summary
I have been on 30 to 40 cruises, and this was maybe the most different that I have been on. The weather was the problem, nothing the cruise company could control. We were to stop in Catalina, be the water was too choppy to be able to use the shore boats as someone may have gotten hurt boarding them. They opted to go to San Diego.......a number of the passengers drove from San Diego to take the cruise, so they sailed back home. Ensanada was also a problem, too rough to dock the boat, so we turned around and headed back to LA.
Princess had no control of the weather, but I think some type of compensation from Princess would have been appreciated.
Food was good, cabin was fine, the help was more than helpfull, on problem was the disembarkation......we were encouraged to take our own luggage off of the ship in the arrival morning. Due to the fact there was a full ship, (3000 plus on board), it made a real problem getting everything on a elevator as the crowds were over whelming, and tempers were short. Think Princess should revamp their thinking when it comes to disembarkation.
Other than that it was a relaxing trip to nowhere.
