the decks around the pool area were constantly slippery. several people fell just walking about. i slid sevarl times but never fell.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
1 out of 5
food was horrible. in the dining rooms, there was very little selection choices. the buffet food was terrible in taste and poorly prepared many times, especially in the afternoons. the bar-b-cue on princess cay, the last day was mostly burnt, had very little taste.
Entertainment
1 out of 5
very little for entertainment. mostly "movies under the stars". no dance shows worth evern peeking into. a juggler in the atrium and a washed up comedien. stupid stuf around the pool areas.
Service and Staff
3 out of 5
aside from Sherwin, our cabin steward, everyone else left us with the impression all they wanted was the $$ from our pocket. one other exception, was "Bianca", a short very nice server in the buffet. she was always there with a smile and some conversation. vertually all the staff didn't speak nor barely understand english. for an industry that caters to mostly americans, i found this strange.
Ship Quality
3 out of 5
size of ship was good. puiblic areas good. decor was somewhat bland. relatively clean, however I peeked into various suites and noticed many rugs that were stained and very worn out. although my cabins were in great condition.
Cabin / Stateroom
3 out of 5
mini-suites were adequate for our needs. steward "sherwin" was very friendly, always accessible and helpful. suites were very clean.
weather was mostly cloudy and it poured as we were leaving the island. didn't go to the beaches nor any excursions, just shopping downtown. tendering to / from island is inconvenient, expecially when princess uses its own boats and only uses 4 for 3000 guests.
beach was nice, very sunny day. food at bar-b-cue was absolutely terrible, burnt and dry, tasteless. again, we had to tender, only 4 boats used again. leaving involved a line of guests 1000 deep in unsheltered sun. princess provided water for the fiirst hour and then cold faceclothes after that till they ran out.
