Review summary

We are repeat "Costa" cruisers and are generally very happy with the service and the ships, but this one time we were a little disappointed with the food. Even with a few cons, however, we will sail with Costa again becuase we enjoy the "Italian" ambiance and since we are not "all about the food", we know that we will again enjoy our cruises with Costa. Hopefully, the food on our next cruise will be fantastic.

Grand Turk Island

We took a cab to see some of the Island but were disappointed because there is really nothing in the town to see nor further down the coast. The best beach was right at the port, but we though it would be worthwhile to find another less crowded beach, but were not successful. The best thing would have been to go directly to the beach at the port.

This cruise, we did not take an excursion but had a very nice lunch in a local restaurant. It was the same shopping as on every other island or port.

Went on a tubing adventure excursion. The transportation and guides were wonderful and we had a whole lot of fun tubing for 3-1/2 miles on a river, through white water areas and beautiful scenary.

Don't Miss: The "tubing adventure" is a don't miss if you want to have a lot of fun in beautiful surroundings.

Pros: The size of the ship, the staff, stewardess, ports.

Cons: The food.
