Review summary

This was my worst cruise experience ever. I have been on three cruises and I will never use this company again. I tried numerous times to resolve issues and was just told to go talk to someone else.

Was told to arrive at 1030 so I could sit in a line for over an hour.

Food was not good, everything was overcooked. Huge lines at buffets everyday and always the same food on the buffet. You are forced to buy drinks at dinner in the dining room, they will not even give you a water.

The everyday staff such as the waiters, room stewards, etc. were great, its the people in management that are the problem.

I was given an obsructed view balcony room below the kitchen in the ship, all night long there were loud crashes and bangs above my room, loud enough to feel and hear even with earplugs in.

Ship tip

Don't sail Costa, any other company will provide a better experience.

Even tho people say they don't care what cabin they have since they are in it only to sleep....well this review says why picking your cabin is the best way to go. Run of the ship guarantees don't often turn out well.

I can't believe they wouldn't give you water in the dining room. Did you ask for tap water? How on earth can they say no? Wow.

Appreciate your details. Recommend that you choose your own cabin, it may cost more but worth the it. Sorry this cruise didn’t meet your expectations.

One of the problems with (I assume) going with the cheaper Guarantee rooms is you often get the rooms no one else wants. Hope they learned their lesson on that. Judging from the other reviews, this ship is poor to ok.
