Review summary

Our first cruise with Costa (we've cruised before with Princess) was great. Excellent food, excellent service, a beautiful ship. Our cruise started in Venice with stops in Italy, Spain, Portugal, England, Germany and Denmark. A great selection of ports. Would highly recommend this cruise, only wish it was offered more than once each year.

Great food and service staff. The staff learned our preferences the first night, every night thereafter we sat down and immedialty received our favorite drinks and dining recommendations based on our preferences.

Great shows nightly. The show theater had individual tables and roomy, comfortable seating.

We had no problem conversing with almost all staff in English. Every staff member went out of their way to ensure we had a great cruising experience.

Cabins are beautiful, but compared to Princess are somewhat smaller.

Cons: Cabins are a bit on the small side, but very nice.
