Disappointed in Princess....due to covid 19 we missed 3 ports....had 9 days at sea on on 14 day cruise. We thought we should have been offered at least a Future Cruise Credit for another cruise. It took 80 days to get my prepaid tour credit back to me..

Review summary

The first part of the cruise was nice....then it was our trip from hell. The pandemic started a wk after we sailed. Ports turned us away, flights were cancelled. My family was scheduled on 2 different flight at Buenos Aires. My sister and I were able to leave and 2 wk quarantine at home but my son and his wife ended up on the ship for 31 days...plus 2 wk quarantine.....no compensation for Wages lost and stress occured. (48 days till they saw their children).A FCC would have been nice. It took 80 days to get back my prepaid tours...almost $500...my sister still has not received her money. Other cruise lines offer money back or future cruise credit because of missed ports in order to keep their customers happy. I have been on 30 plus cruises. Definitely disappointed in Princess!

Separated my family into 2 different planes.....because of this my son and his wife were stuck on the ship 31 days instead of 14. Had to carry my luggage from room off the ship.Had a police escorted bus to airport.

Thanks for sharing your cruise

We cancelled our Med Cruise and it took 80 days to get our pre-paid shore excursion refund back. Not really Princess’s fault when foreign ports would not passengers disembark. In most cases Princess was told they could use the port then when they arrived they were told no. Even Fort Lauderdale said no until they agreed to allow passengers to disembark.

An epidemic strikes and you expect the cruise line to compensate you for inconvenience!? Why? Did they just keep you on board and prevented from disembarking? Obviously not. Did you son have travel insurance?

I agree. This was in no way the fault of the Cruise Line.

Sorry for the missed ports and disappointment, Covid has just turned everything in a tailspin.

None of this is the cruiseline's fault. Covid-19 impacted a lot of people and continues to do so.
