It was terrible. Although I met good people. The ports were decent, but the days at sea were extremely long and terrible, nothing to do.

Getting on the cruise was actually fairly quick and simple.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
1 out of 5
After every meal I felt sick or uneasy. I have traveled before so I do except that with foreign food you may experience symptoms, but this was different. I believe I had food poisoning a major of the time after my dining experiences. In the buffet the breakfast was fine. It was a easy thing to do for every morning, but for lunch or dinners I felt that the quality of the food was just too low and I did not feel as though I was getting a healthy, nutritious meal. I also felt as though that specialty dinners were not special at all. I attended both Sabintinis and the Bayou Cafe and I did not enjoy the experience anymore than just eating at the main dining room. The only thing that was different was the theme and setting of the specialty restaurant, nothing that truly made them stand out.
Bayou Cafe & Steakhouse

I ordered the “carpetbagger steak” and it was as rare as it gets even though I ordered it to be medium. Lucky they took my steak back and brought me a new one that was supposed to be cooked more, but it wasn’t! I send it back for the third time and thankfully it finally cooked when the cut it butterfly style. I also ordered the peel-and-eat shrimp and they were extremely messy.
Bordeaux Dining Room

If anything this venue was a step below mediocre. The portions were huge and the quality was low. I do have to say that having the choices switch day to day was very nice and expanded the variety of the selection.
Onboard Activities
1 out of 5
I did happen to take a dip in the hot tub once in the beginning of the trip, but I did not find it at the least bit satisfying. The temperature of the hot tub was hot, as it should be, but luke warm. The indoor pool was constantly filled with children screaming, so I did not find it apppealing to be in there and the outdoor Poot was just plain freezing. I attempted to attend the fitness multiple morning and found it difficult to even find an open machine. This brought my mood down throughout the cruise because I find staying healthy and workout a very crucial part of my life and I was not able to do so.
Entertainment
1 out of 5
The overall entertainment of the entire cruise was almost complete garabage. There was maybe two performances that I slightly enjoyed. One was the comedian. I found him very hilarious and went to both of his shows. The other performance I enjoyed was the Voice of the Ocean. It was a very legitimate production and very entertaining to witness live. Other shows, such as motor city, really were terrible. I thought the choreography of the production was quite poor, the lack of a plot line had me bored in my seat, and the little amount of variety had me wanting to jump overboard. The one thing I thought I was going to have a great experience was the dances and DJ performances, but I was wrong. DJ Robbie seemed to have no character and was not as enthusiastic about to he mood of the dance as he should’ve been. I also found myself sitting and not having anything to do. On days at sea there was not enough shows going on and I thought that it would be those days that we would have the most to do, but I was wrong yet again. Things to do were already limited for me since I am under the age of 18 and was not aloud to be in the DJ lounge past 11pm. I was looking for late nights and fun times, but I thought as though the entire boat “shut down” at 11:30pm.
Explorer's Lounge
3 out of 5
The sofas in the back corner were my favorite spots to be with my friends, except we could only be in there until 11pm. I found this quite ridiculous because my group of teens were practically the only group in the whole lounge, so when we left the place was basically a ghost town. The stage was fine nothing special and the music was lame.
Grand Atrium
2 out of 5
To be honest, this space was extremely awkward and not the layout I would plan myself. Most of the time you couldn’t even use the stairs since people would be sitting or standing on them to view what was happening because besides the stairs there really was no way to view any event that went on in the atrium. This was only of course when there was an event happening which was definitely not often. BORING.
Children's Programs
2 out of 5
Being a member of the kid’s club (Beach House) I can personally say I did not enjoy any of activities provided by the kids club. Most times I wanted to hangout there the door would be locked buscarse it was too early or there was simply nobody in there. I’ll admit that I was very happy to have found a solid group of friends through the kids club for the first not but did find us returning to the room very much at all. I did attend the scary movies night with my group and the movie didn’t have a chance to finish before the time was midnight, but the supervisor kicked us out anyways. So we all left the beach house hat night wondering how the movie ended and we would never know. I also noticed that I images provided online of the beach house were nothing near what it really was. I entire color scheme was different, there was no skeeball, and it was overall just really disappointing.
Service and Staff
4 out of 5
I thought the waiter at every location were very friendly and nice and I did enjoy being served by them. It’s always so inteserting going on a cruise and learning about where all the staff is from. It was my rooms steward that I was not happy with in the slightest. He was never around and when he was he unsettled me and did not make me feel comfortable. One of my favorite things to do on cruise is to create a nice friendly relationship with my room steward, but I felt unable to have a connection with him. I felt more connected with the steward a couple rooms down than I did with my very own. The one down the hall was always around and said “hi” or “how was dinner”, every single time we were out of our room.
Ship Quality
3 out of 5
The layout was okay I thought there wasn’t much variety as to open space versus enclosed areas. The lounges were nice spot to hangout in dark corners but to find having that open-plan feeling was nowhere. I personally thought the atrium was very poorly layout and just awkardly in the middle of everything and I felt like I could never use the stairs because people were watching things. One thing that I did find was good was the overall cleanliness of the ship. The age of the ship did make it feel a little more dingy but it was fine.
Food poisoning after every meal? Did you go to medical? Since Ray noted you are most likely under 17, did you tell your parents? I remember when my daughter stated getting sick after eating, turns out she can not do milk now, solved the problem.
Strange about dinner, I wonder if the new menu is not as good as the old one. In the past We found that there were always healthy and tasty choices in the MDR, as well as less heathy but “feel good” items also. And I usually could make a nice salad for lunch in the Lido Buffet. Maybe you need to get tested for food allergies. Being 17 or younger you should not have been feeling like food poisoning and not seeing any reports yet, you sound like an isolated case. Talk to your parents.
