Review summary

Princess does it right.  They seem to own the cruise industry in Alaska.  The cruise was Five Star all the way.  Great food, great rooms, great service.  They really care about their customers. When we finished the cruise we had a seven day land tour aboard the Princess glass topped train and we stayed in the Princess lodges which were grand.  Everything went smoothly without a single hitch.  We saw Denali for three days without a cloud in the sky.  Not sure if Princess arranged that but they did everything else perfectly so......?  We went the last week in July through the first week in August and the weather was perfect.

Ship tip

Get ready to be pampered. The ice carvings and the fruit carvings were tremendous! Take the tour of the kitchens.
