Review summary

Taking everything into consideration, it was a very relaxing, enjoyable vacation.  The employees are very efficient and helpful.  Our balcony cabin needs some upgrading, carpet upholstering etc.  Food was good for the most part, although the Horizan Court didn't seem to have the variety that I remember on other cruises.  Embarkation was excellent and very organized.

The cabin needs an refurbishing. Carpet was dirty and spotted. Chair upholstering was worn. Beds were very comfortable.

Ship tip

Entertainment was very good and a large variety.

The Coral Princess is showing some signs of aging, but my experience was that it was always pristine. Ship is 14 years old, about average for cruise ships.

They were in the process of replacing carpet in the cabins....saw it being brought on board when we embarked on 3/16/16 and also saw into some cabins where it was being replaced the day we were in Gatun Lake. 😉

Our mini suite and our friends interior both had new carpet and bathroom tileing.
