Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The food selection was varied and enjoyable. We enjoyed the flexibility to eat at our leisure in the Horizon Court, pizza or grill. We did not eat at the Bayou or Sabatini restaurants because of the additional costs. We were satisfied with the dining selections offered in the Provence.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
We had several days at sea and took advantage of the spa. Most of the other onboard activities did not interest us much. We did not attend any of the art auctions, bingo or competitive casino activities. We did participate in the game show and DJ programs, we found them to be very entertaining.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The two professional entertainers we attended were excellent. The onboard dancers were very energetic and professional. Their talent was amazing. The singers were ok but nothing steller. We went to most of their performances.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The waiters and other staff members were professional, entertaining and made our dining experience something to look forward to daily and remember fondly.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
The ship was clean however several of the public restrooms were partially closed for maintenance during the entire cruise.

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
Small and very cramped for three people. Electrical outlets were extremely limited for our electronics to recharge after excursions. The carpet is worn in a few places.

Ship tip

The ship was beautiful but needed some updating. Our cabin carpet had several worn areas where the threads were showing. Electrical outlets were sparse resulting in difficulty keeping our electronic devices charged as three of us shared a cabin.

Ports of call

Oranjestad, Aruba

5 out of 5
One of our favorite ports! We enjoyed the trip to the Butterfly Farm, although the Aloe Factory and rock formations were less than expected. The shopping experiece there was a lot of fun.

Panama Canal (Cruise Into Canal)

5 out of 5
We enjoyed the Panama Canal experience, our guide was knowledgeable and entertaining. We were only expecting a light snack, a great lunch was served with unlimited water and drinks. Beer was available for purchase which many travelers enjoyed.

Colon, Panama

Puerto Limon, Costa Rica

We enjoyed the shopping and bartering experience with the vendors at the pier.

Ocho Rios, Jamaica

Mystic Mountain was a fun time. We enjoyed the chair lift and sight seeing there. Shopping was good at this port.
