Room Type: Oceanview

Recently took a cruise to Alaska with Coral Princess. The ship has been renovated and the result was good. The hall way are bright and clean, the central court from 5th to 8th floor gave us a sense of grandness. The Princess theatre, however, could benefit from another exist on 6th floor as after each show, the line up for exist was long. We paid for ocean view room but the view was totally obstructed, which was quite disappointing. The indoor pool was fun but a bit small.

Pros: naturalist available to explain Alaska's natural beauty and history

Cons: horizon court's food

Recommends Coral Princess? Yes!

Service and Staff
staffs are friendly and willing to help, professional most of the time.
Ship Quality
Food and Dining
Food in the dinning room is good and if you ask, specialty option is possible; but food in horizon court (buffet) has limited selection and quality is just so so.
Cabin / Stateroom
Entertainment
Except the comedy show, other Princess productions were excellent
Ketchikan, Alaska
Must see: Downtown - you can walk around in 2-3hours, creek street and Misty fjord via flight seeing is good (on sunny day)
Don't Miss: Creek Street shopping
Skagway, Alaska
Small town, walkable. Most people go to the rail train ride to Whitepass. It's a good option for sunny day.
Don't Miss: visitor information centre -- have movie, guided tour

Must see - Downtown walk tour. you can get the map from local tourist information centre, within walking distance from the dock.
Don't Miss: Mendenhall Glacier
