Apparently, I was very fortunate - The ship was only 40% capacity - check capacity level it does make a difference!

Book all excursions, shows and restaurants before boarding or as soon as your board to save time.

DO NOT USE the ships app to upgrade your WiFi service. I was charged almost $170 MORE than if I had gone to the Guest Relations Desk and had them do it.

We were Aqua Class because that was all that was available when we booked (about 4 weeks before sailing.) If you are not spa people my advice would be to save your money and go regular Veranda Class. Eating in Blu was a nice perk but the food in the main dining room was also good. I'd rather save my money for use on excursions, etc.

The Summit was a perfect getaway for us. It’s a smaller, quieter ship with more seniors than thrill seekers. There are no water rides, rock climbing walls, or too many late night activities after 10:00-11:00 pm. That’s okay with us and lounging on deck in the calm seas was wonderful. The dining was without exaggeration…exceptional. Very good service with meals that were delicious. Embarkation and disembarking was smooth and we were literally on board within 15 minutes of parking in the Cape Liberty garage ($25/day). This was our 2nd sailing on the Summit and the difference since the last refurbish was very good . The coffee bar is a caffeine lover’s haven and the martini bar served up some very creative intoxicants! My wife enjoyed the shows more than I did and I was disappointed that they didn’t have a Newlywed game show, which is always funny. Bermuda is as beautiful and as friendly as ever. Horseshoe Bay is still a wonderful place to spend a day, as was Tobacco Bay, but the beach bar kinda ruined the atmosphere with high volume music that bordered on noise. The transportation pass is still a good value, but the Wednesday night Street festival in Hamilton really isn’t worth the trip. The warmth of the Bermudian folks is always a treat. I’m sure we will sail the Summit again someday.
