Review summary

The experience was wonderful, the staff extraordinary except for one or two staff members at bars (not the martini bar) were we felt a bit uncomfortable due to their exaggerated performance in lieu to service. We must say that the beverage package was not a deal for us. We are beer drinkers and all the beers were always mid temperature and not cold .This is a NO, NO. This applies to all bars. At Ocean view café we were able to find some cold ones, the only exception but this is not a bar. We had to sit in the dinning area.

I must say thou I felt the staterooms were clean, I realize that there is no detailing. The lamps shades had dusk, the tables had previous water or drinks stains, I found flyers or brochures pertaining to previous sailing in between the end table and wall. My daughter who had a stateroom connecting with us found a peel orange underneath the bed and a cigarette box inside a shelve. We should had ask for a refund for up paid gratuities.

On the other  hand we must give special thanks to Katherine at Ocean view café who when out of her way to help us in selecting food choices and gave an extra mile with us. Overall we had a good experience because our mood was to rest since we have cruise the Caribbean many times and this trip was to rest. But I must say its low key in activities and the variety of food is limited. I don't understand why these cruise liners  have not the idea  to serve native puertorican food at the food court. We do not eat hot or mild spicy foods. We can never find a decent plain white rice with pinto beans done the puertorican way. Or pork leg the way we prepare it. Or Cuban and or Dominican Republic food, the these kitchens are more similar to the puertorican one. WE NEVER EVER use curry in our foods. Other than these details we were satisfied with our trip.

The Spa was excellent and its staff as well.

Ship tip

Antigua is excellent as the ship is right at walking distance to down town. There is an excellent store called Isis were you can find pieces from Egypt. A must visit! St Martin's port hospitality is the best, they had a steel band at our arrival and they were handing out shopping totes.

Puerto Rico is only the departure port so that does mean they should serve Puerto Rican food as passengers are from all over the world.

Sorry, Summit. We just got off the Silhouette and it was spotless.
