Review summary

Well designed, well maintained and easy to get around. Unless you are a snorkeller / ocean swimmer, the land destinations were of limited appeal. The most appealing tour (to the coral reef in Noumea) was canceled for lack of participants, a MAJOR downer.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
BLU restaurant had terrific food\, great service and was well worth the extra to sail in Aqua Class. However\, the base wines available were mediocre. General buffet was varied and good\, the overcrowded. Healthy eating station on Deck 12 was an added plus. The incremental price to eat in other specialty restaurants is totally not worth it.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Acrobats were phenominal\, and the other stage shows were largely good to excellent. The presenter on environment and ocean topics did not tailor his presentations to this cruise\, was meandering and difficult to ollow\, and kept making refernence to Hawaii which was irrelevant.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Sommelier in BLU was very attentive to our needs and recognized we know our wines. Stateroom staff were efficient and responded to all our requests.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Loved the exercise facilities.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Staff were very attentive to our schedule and the room was kept in immaculate order with no interruptions to us. Daily fruit in Aqua Class is a nice touch but not much used given the plentiful / quality food available elsewhere.

Pros: Entertainment\, Exercise Areas\, Dining

Cons: Nickel and diming\, expensive specialty restaurants\, crowding in pool areas
