My wife and I have cruised many times, but this cruise on The Celebrity Solstice in the Eastern Med was fantastic! We upgraded to an Aqua Class cabin and found it to be woth the extra money. We loved the exclusive \"Blu\" dining room! Our waiter's assistant \"Lucky\" Luciano was so enthusiastic and helpful. Overall the ship is very modern and in fact we hardly noticed that it was moving except while docking in port! The bed was super comfy and the stateroom was very comfortable and large. It was nice to have a balcony to relax on too! We met wonderful people on board, the food was plentiful and fantastic. We couldn't recommend this cruise ship and company any higher!

Pros: Staff\, Ship\, Ports\, Food\, New Friends

Cons: Entertainment

Recommends Celebrity Solstice? Yes!

Ship Quality
Could hardly tell that we were at sea on a ship\, as it hardly moved
Food and Dining
Blu and the Tuscan Grill were amazing. The Silk Harvest was not worth the money. The regular dining room always had had great food! The Ocean View cafe was always open and the food was great there also.
Cabin / Stateroom
Comfy beds. Great staff and service!
Service and Staff
For a 12 might cruise\, the entertainment was as good as it could be. Frankly after a night or two\, we hardly made it to any shows because we were just too darn tired after having long\, lesiurely meals and drinks with friends. If you're on the ship to be entertained\, you might be disapponted. Tyhe staff tried very hard to have a variety to appeal to the many cultures and ages on board.
