Review summary
Entertainment was about what you would expect from a cheap Carnival cruise. Two of the main shows were the same guy playing a xylophone. I was totally disappointed in the overall entertainment. I expected Celebrity to be a cut above. The food in the main dining room was ok to poor. It seems like they wanted you to go to one of the 5 pay-extra-to-eat dining rooms. Desserts were the worst of any cruise I have taken. So much room on the ship is taken up with extra pay places it seems small and chopped up. Gym is just ok and the large and beautiful steam room is extra @ $60.00 per hour and it was always empty. If you have been on the RCCL Freedom of the Seas, you will be completely disappointed in the Solstice. If this is your first cruise you wont be disappointed, most others would expect more from CelebrityPros: Best buffet area ever. No crowding and great food
