There is a significant decline in quality in Celebrity from our last cruise with them 2 years ago.

The Main restaurant food is mediocre and lacks variety. The service was excellent but could not make up for the food.

The music overall was not adequate for a new Year cruise. Really mediocre. Specially, the New Year's party was terrible. There was no service to speak off, could not get a drink for over an hour, the music was jazzy and lackadaisical. After midnight, 90% of the people (in Sky Lounge) left complaining.

Bar/lounges service was not to Celebrity standards. Often had to wait to long get served. The only appetizer available everywhere was a poor mixture of little crackers, a few peanuts and only God knows what. Terrible.

Not please at all. Will look for better cruise line.

Its was an incredible experience, which I cherish with every  member of my family. Great food, enjoyable facilities and a first class service.

I'll highly recommend Celebrity X Cruises, to all my friends and I'll surely, take another cruises with you.

We totally enjoyed every aspect of this cruise. Can't really think of anything we would have changed except maybe the deck we were on due to obstructed view from balcony. The entire staff was friendly, helpful and courteous. The shows were very good with very talented singers and dancers. Food was fabulous and wait staff superior. Rooms were kept up very well by helpful room steward. Would definitely take a repeat cruise on this ship!

Wonderful ship & staff.  It was our 2nd time sailing on the Silhouette.  I usually take balcony cabins; however, due to the cost for all 5 of us and having to take 2 cabins; we took 2 side-by-side cabins on deck 3.  On day 2 of 9, I kept hearing this loud banging noise as the ship was rocking quite a bit.  The noise was really keeping me up at night as I am a light sleeper.  I asked the Pursers desk if they could send someone to listen to the noise and perhaps there was something that could be done to eliminate the noise.  Five minutes later, I had an engineer and Joiner in my cabin to listen to the noise.  They heard it and said it was most likely something loose inside the wall, but they really could not do anything.  I said ok, and thanked them for coming.  That night, the Purser called my cabin to say that they would like to move our cabin and asked if we'd like to take a look at the room first.  We said "sure".  They gave us a BALCONY room on deck 6 mid-ship!  Great cabin and best of all, no noise!  The food in the dining room was great and so was the service.  The French restaurant was superb!! 

The only thing I can say I wish was a bit better (but it really was nothing to make an issue over) was the water pressure in my shower was bit weak and the inside bar service was a little slow in getting drinks.  Other than that, all good!

If you are looking for a beautiful ship with quality entertainment, well-maintained staterooms and good service, this is it!  You will find the Silhouette excels in those areas.  If you are into food and don't want to pay extra for specialty dining, you will be challenged.  The main dining room food and service is subpar and specialty dining is very expensive on Celebrity.  We would sail again on Silhouette but, would budget in specialty dining when comparing cruise fares.

Embarking & Disembarking was fast and painless. Lovely & elegant cruise ship, Loved the decor and Upper green deck. Ship was very clean, elegant and rooms were larger than in other cruise ships. Great balcony & awesome sunset views.

Food in main dining places was ok, quality can be improved upon. The specialty restaurants offered better food selections, but at additional cost. Dining staff was excellent & provided good service. Room steward Melwyn was the best. 

Bartender Mallon on Deck 5 provided excellent servoce and should be commended. 

Offshore excursion was bad, it was supposed to be a cruise to the Beach, Getting on the little cruise boat was dangerous as the boat was not safely docked to get passengers on board, Some members of our group had to travel by bus instead as it was so dangerous trying to get on the boat.

Dinner at Tuscan Grill was probably the most memorable part. Other dinners were at best adequate and service was very slow. We felt that the dining/bar staff was not happy to be there and definitely showed. We realize that it was the day after Christmas and some may have been homesick but this is part of the industry.

We have been on other cruise lines and have enjoyed the staff and gotten to know many of them.

Favorite Part:  The staterooms were more pleasant and spacious than we expected! Our Room Attendant, Tony, was always cheerful, helpful, and extremely attentive, helping us with every little thing we needed over the length of the cruise.

Needs improvement: It was hard to go 4 days without easy access to fresh water other than the small refillable cups in the dining room. No water fountains near the bathrooms, no access to water at the pool other than standing in line at the bar, and no bottled water ,unless we paid for a drink package. While Tony did bring us a pitcher of ice water whenever we asked, it was something we all noticed and were frustrated by, especially with our younger children, and when we were in the workout room.

Recommend?: Yes, we'd recommend this to friends. The ship was clean, the facilities were lovely, and the staff was excellent. Thank you!

This ship far exceeds the others - just compare to others when in port.  It is ship-shape in all respects.  Always a fresh coat of paint on the outside.  High polished railings (no rust), Clean, clean, clean. Most rooms have balconies and comfortable beds and the service was tops with smiling, friendly crew.  The food and service was fabulous, at least 3 attendees at our table every night.  The spa is one of the best and can be trusted even with fillers and botox.  Loved the buffets.  The movie was good and the nightly shows were fantastic!

Enjoyed the pilates and yoga.  If I could make a suggestion, it would be to add a couple more free activities like dance classes in ballroom or Latin dances, etc. But we liked that there were not as many children on this cruise.  Smooth sailing all the way.  Very beautiful. gave us a very special deal and I would like to use them in the future as well.

Staff was fabulous.  Every one with whom we came in contact. The best!!!  Teen program was also very good.  Food, in general, was mediocre.  The Spa Cafe was a savior for healthy food at breakfast and lunch.  Celebrity should be more transparent about costs.  You should add $1000, minimum to your stated costs.  It is unreasonable not to be able to order a bottle of water without being charged.  Water and juice are available, but if you are at a venue that doesn't have them, it is quite a trek to get it, especially at the casino.  We had massages on first day at sea.  The best hot stone massage I have ever had. Also, the most I have ever paid for one, $315 plus gratuity for 80 mins.  And then, same massage advertised for half the price for the rest of the cruise. NOT NICE, Celebrity.   Bought wifi because we needed to keep tabs on teens.  $250 for each room and it didn't work for at least ½ the time.  Then found out that some passengers received it as a perk.  Shopping:  went to shopping presentation for St. Maarten.  Thought Richie Z was knowledgeable.  Joined his excursion to Diamond's International.  Total rip off.  They are overpriced, snooty, and high pressured.  Touted as the best buys and most honest company.  We went to Helena Jewelers (quietly recommended by sales person at Diamond's International, and bought several items, including chocolate diamond bracelet.  Had it appraised when I got back, and jeweler was very impressed with quality and price.  D. I. could not even touch it.  I would cruise with Celebrity again, but with some hesitation.  

Service, Quality, Cleanliness , Ship Layout are outstanding!!

I am a veteran cruiser and I must say Celebrity has impressed me very much. The attention to detail is a step above all cruises I have experienced. her is a list of a few examples

1. Room service courtesy call.. your breakfast is on its way

2. Room service courtesy 30 min later... How was your breakfast 

3. Public areas well thought out, never crowded,comfortable seating

The Food is abundant, delicious with variety and culture. The Officers and staff very friendly ,helpful and informative. Cruise Director Luigi and Staff very energetic and happy.  I Thank the Captain and Crew and all the people at Celebrity that made our Holiday Vacation remarkable.

We appreciate the special attention from Mrs. SANDRA PATRICIA (drink waitress), who served drinks to Us, it's the kind of person just make You enjoy more the cruise. She was so helpful and friendly.

The service on this cruise is excellent. I wish there were more poolside waiters to take drink orders as well as more free food vendors. Everything else was fantastic.

Balcony room very nice, staff nice, main dining table 515 excellent. Spa ok, needs to stay on top of the showers, some work some did not. Please omit Dolphin excursion, those animals are so abused 4 times a day. Small pools,chloinated water, dead fish with medicine to calm them and antibiotics as they will bite. The countries in the Caribbean, Mexico and Central America are run by a huge Mexican conglomerate and these animals are used for greed only. There is no educating anyone about how they got there and then that is a lie. Let the people spending their hard eraned money make the decison on facts. Make the world a kinder place free these beings, swim with them in their home the ocean much more profitable and shows the world this can be done without corruption or harming the sea life which is in jeporady due to pollution and overfishing. It does not matter what you request, they will give you what they want to. Table for 2, because of a handicap, give a table for 6. And make sure it is all the way in the farthest part of the room.. Hide all the things you are suppose to get with your extra paid for room, and make sure you don't get them until the end of the trip.Don't try talking to the employees because most of them don't speak English, or pretend that they don't understand you. After 12 trips with other companies,I  think I have had enough experience to tell when I have had really bad treatment and even worse cold food. On Christmas we were forced to listen to some kind of Arabic music played in the buffet. Great Holiday.!!!

We took this cruise as a large family travelling together with 4 balcony cabins next to each other. We opened the partitions between the balconies to easily go between the rooms. During Christmas the boat did not seem crowded. There were enough lounge chairs to avoid the usual stress of reserving/getting them early in the morning. The staff in the breakfast/dinner restaurant was terrific and the food was pretty good. We enjoyed the shows and the children enjoyed ping-pong and swimming. The destination islands and excursions were not too exciting for a family that lives in Florida and vacations in the Caribbean frequently, but it's also enjoyable to stay aboard ship for the day while the others are on-shore. The ship was beautifully decorated for Christmas, but it didn't quite have the same feel as being at home. It sure was nice not to have to cook for a large crowd, though! i would recommend this cruise to others.

Silhouette is a beautiful ship with plenty of lounge chairs. The Concierge Class is to be recommended for the extra perks. Our family found the dining service first class on every restaurant on board. Overall this was our most enjoyable cruise we have taken. 

The entire staff of the Celebrity Sillouette have completely raised the bar regarding my cruise expectations! Their commitment to customer service is in a class by itself. Yes the cruise is a bit pricier than some, but you definitely get what you pay for!!! Although it was my first time on Celebrity, it definitely will not be my last!!!

We traveled with our family on the celebrity silhouette for the  holidays. It was a great cruise! The service, food, and accommodations were great. The staff in the oceanvirw cafe (large buffet) weren't always the most helpful or friendly but that didn't take away from our overall experience.  The specialty restaurants for excellent. Several staff members stood out for us, most especially, Sandra Quintero our bar server who helped us upgrade and purchase premium beverage packages for the whole family! Sandra made a point to see us every day to say hello, hug my children, and speak Spanish with my parents. She is a treasure and Celebrity is lucky to have her on staff!

This was our first cruise and wow what an experience. My wife and I are not ones to hang out by the pool all day, we are activity people. The amount of events, activities, games, dancing onboard was phenomenal and so much fun! Food was great and Dining in the Dining Hall was like having a date night every night! The crew was so nice and attentive to the point that you just want to always smile! The ship was very clean and they were very sanitary with ensuring that everything was spot on clean! Amazing experience and now Celebrity has customers for life
