We love to cruise, but this vacation was somewhat disappointing which was sad because we took our family for Christmas.

Room steward was great! Waiters and wait staff treated us like 2nd class citizens, not sure if it was racially motivated or not, but we ignored for the tables surrounding us while in the dining room, and snapped at in the Buffet by the management for asking for availability to the dessert bar near closing time

standard stateroom. The balcony had this crusty layer all over everything (salt?)

Ship tip

It appears to be more of an "adult" population, though there were families with little kiddos and that was great as we were an adult group. If that's what you are looking for in a cruise, then Celebrity fits the bill. Otherwise, we got sub-par service when in the main dining room, and had to flag down wait staff frequently to provide refreshment or food - was not happy about that in the least bit.

We went on an excursion to Pearl Island. It was quaint, but a lot run-down (could have been the storm that passed through 2 days prior to our visit?), so just mainly enjoyed the beach.
