Review summary

I enjoyed my cruise even when supposedly I came out with covid by the fourth day and had to go into isolation. Two days after I had no symptoms 🙄😇🙄. The cruise staff was amazing to me. I strongly suggest Celebrity and other cruise lines to bring back the pretesting requirement. I had a previous cruise with Celebrity Edge. The Silhouette, although an older ship, in my opinion, has more entertaining venues than the new class ships.

We had very good individual performances by singers and musicians in addition to their team productions. The productions were not bad but sometimes felt that we were listening to a song, while people were dancing and there were even acrobats on the stage but nothing was coherent or related to each other. Let's not mention wardrobe 🤔😳🙄 Still... entertaining.

I booked an ocean-view cabin (3116) and tried to bid on a balcony cabin through their website system but prices/options never went down, even when in the end they had plenty of unsold cabins 🙄 Nothing wrong with cabin 3116. However, reviewing papers left at my cabin found a paper (memo note) stating they were offering me a complimentary upgrade 😲 They transferred me to the balcony cabin #6127. Great! I wished they had called earlier instead. Had to repack and move but with the biggest smile, you could imagine 😁 Cabins need more closet/storage space. Otherwise, no complaints.
