Review summary

We were rerouted to Miami the first 2 nights without explanation (we know there was a heart attack and probably a death from a fall from a balcony). We spent the first 4 days at sea and didn’t get to go to Grand Cayman. This was a much more “grown up” ship than I had been on before. There were very few silly games at the pool and the karaoke bar was usually empty. The staff and the ship itself were amazing, especially as this was the last cruise before all cruises were cancelled.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Very easy and efficient despite the extra Coronavirus precautions.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
We had one cranky server, but otherwise the food and service were great.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
The fitness center was nice, I enjoyed the spin classes when they weren’t cancelled.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
The shows were well done.

Children's Programs

I didn’t have kids

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Our room steward, Danilo, was awesome. I manage a resort and offered to hire him when he gets tired of the sea life.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Absolutely beautiful! Loved the Hideaway and the pool by the spa.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5

Ship tip

This is not a party ship

Ports of call

Ft. Lauderdale (Port Everglades), Florida

5 out of 5
Easy getting on and off

Oranjestad, Aruba

2 out of 5
Very commercial. We did an Aruba by Land Sea excursion that was very disappointing.

Willemstad, Curacao

2 out of 5
We were only there from 6:30pm to 10pm so nothing was open.?

Kralendijk, Bonaire

4 out of 5
This was my favorite, but snorkeling was disappointing due to windy weather and foggy water.

George Town, Grand Cayman Did not visit port

We were rerouted to Miami the first 2 nights of our cruise for “medical emergencies” which were never explained to us.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Very easy. We didn’t even go through customs.
