First long cruise. Met interesting people and saw beautiful places...and crossed the Arctic Circle.
Heard some grumbles about lack of lobster, but we found the food and service very good. Except the coffee.

Were pleased with the main dining room, which we used almost every night. Buffet selection excellent at breakfast and lunch. Ice cream and cookie section was an added treat

We enjoyed the podium presentations, art lectures, shops and music in main lobby
Entertainment
5 out of 5
We only saw one show: The Irish Knights and the band and the dancers were outstanding
Children's Programs
Didn’t even see one child throughout the 12 night cruise
Service and Staff

Room steward was great, as were all of the stewards on our section of the deck.
Enjoyed the consistency of having the same wait staff for every dinner. Not one misstep.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
Design far superior to other cruise ships I have been on. Many nooks and larger areas to relax: library, Hideaway, solarium, observation deck
Cabin / Stateroom

Lots of storage space. Kettle in room, mini fridge emptied and waiting for out water bottles.
Did the hop hop off bus, Saint Patrick’s cat and Epic museum. Needed a shuttle into the city as we docked in a container pier 😳. Much easier to grab a taxi, which we did for the drive back to the ship.
We walked through the town and to a small museum about 3km further. Not great signage but people very happy to assist. Majestic place. The fiord was by far the most scenic spot on the entire cruise.
Excursion to the Parliament (Ring of Fire). Some parts of tour time consuming and really who needs awful coffee and cake when you are living in food heaven. However the guide was good and the continental plates were very interesting
Loved it! Loved the town. Loved the people. Loved the clean and free toilets, loved the prices at the tourist centre gift shop ( especially after the shock of Icelandic prices)
