One issue we were disappointed in was allowing pets on the ship, especially in public areas. These pets were not service animals

How do you know they weren't service animals? Did you ask to see their paperwork?

I have seen more pets - identified as service/therapy dogs in the past year than all my many prior years sailing. If they help people enjoy life and meet guidelines, good for them. My furbaby stays home, and these special animals bring a smile to so many.
