Review summary

Worst cruise I have ever been on. I have cruised more than 8 times. I have been on Carnival, Disney and Royal Caribbean. We thought Celebrity would be good since they are a sister line to Royal Caribbean but was utterly disappointed.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Quick and easy

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Food was not what it was hyped to be. Selection was limited in the main dining.

Onboard Activities

2 out of 5
Not enough to do. No games such as shuffle board, foosball, pool tables. One ping pong table. No other on deck activities to do.

Entertainment

1 out of 5
Except for the comedian Brad Tassell the entertainment was horrible.

Children's Programs

No children with us

Service and Staff

2 out of 5
Friendly but not spectacular. No bar staff walking around the solstice deck.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Furniture and rugs are in need of updating. Need USB ports and additional outlets near bed.

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
Room was changed to 3130. It was very comfortable, the size was perfect and clean.

Ship tip

Change your cruise line to Royal Caribbean

Ports of call

Ft. Lauderdale (Port Everglades), Florida

4 out of 5
It was fine no excursion.

George Town, Grand Cayman

4 out of 5
Clean very busy. No excursion done

Cozumel, Mexico

3 out of 5
It was ok but we docked further from the places I wanted to shop at.

Bimini, Bahamas

2 out of 5
Beautiful. Excursion was not set up well. We had lunch with this excursion but it was poorly run. No preorders and this made the process terrible. Our friends with us ordered food at the same time and an hour later they still did not have their meal. We left without them ever receiving it.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Fastest disembarkation ever

Disappointing your cruise failed to meet your expectations. We sailed on the Reflection on January 6th to the ABC islands and had a totally different experience. Captain Kirk and his crew were visible and very engaging. The Cruise Director was brand new and activities and entertainment were abundant and first class. Meals in the MDR and Oceanview Cafe were good and offered many choices.

I TOTALLY AGREE WITH YOU!!! I sailed on this ship January 14th for six nights and as you can see from my profile, this was my 115th voyage. It was BY FAR, the WORST cruise I have ever taken. It was so boring that I could not believe anyone who has ever cruised before could have possibly enjoyed it. The activities were non existent and I swear to you, I only saw the cruise director ONCE the entire 6 night cruise. Ridiculous!

I’ve never been on Celebrity or Royal but they look like completely different experiences to me so I wouldn’t assume if I liked one I’d like the other. Sorry you didn’t enjoy it.

The reflection was just in dry dock 2023 can't imagine all the rugs furniture needs to be replaced already. At least I hope not I have 10 days till we sail on her. It seems like you might be sweeting the small stuff.
