Review summary

We loved this cruise because we just wanted to relax. It was slow-paced and peaceful. We only saw 5 kids the whole trip. The food and service were excellent. We will cruise again with Celebrity.

We showed up when they told us to and did not have to wait in any lines.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The main dining room dinner was exceptional. The selection of food, quality of food, and service were all wonderful. Lunch was the same, except there were fewer options and it wasn't open on port days. Breakfasts we pretty good. We ate in the Oceanview cafe (buffet)) a few times for breakfast - there were more options, but the made to order omelets weren't always cooked in the middle. The coffee at Il Baccio was wonderful.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Fitness center was great, but crowded at times. The pools were OK and usually not too crowded.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The service was professional, competent, and friendly throughout the ship. Bartenders knew our drink orders after the first night in some bars. Main dining room dinner service was exceptional - head and assistant waiter and sommelier were all fabulous.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The ship is attractive and clean, with lots of interesting spaces that are quiet.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
The room was comfortable and normal size for a balcony cabin. Some of the furnishing showed a little aged. The room steward kept everything very nice.

Ship tip

This ship is great for a relaxing cruise. Activities are limited to shows, music and trivia. The average age of passengers was around 65.

Ports of call

Castries, St. Lucia

We went on a beach excursion, but couldn't swim because of rough waves. The driver was an excellent tour guide and the barbecue lunch was very good.

Philipsburg, St. Maarten

This port was the best. Shopping and excellent beach are both within walking distance of the port. A water taxi is available if you don't want to walk. The beach had beautiful water and soft, white sand.

We used express departure. We were out and in our Lyft in 15 minutes.
