Overall, it was a great cruise and we had a blast. This is our fourth February in a row on a Solstice Class ship and I am glad to be trying something new next year on the Edge.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
We arrived to Port Everglades at around 10:30am. The terminal was changed at the last minute from the new Edge Terminal 25 to the Royal Caribbean Terminal 18. Bags checked and Seapass cards in hand in less than 10 minutes. They started boarding at around 11:10am and we were on the ship right away. Nice waiting lounge.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
Everything with F&B was amazing. There can be a lot of people at the bars, but the bartenders are quick and the wait was never that long. I was also amazed how many people they had walking around taking orders or with mobile bars when they did events. We especially liked the Ensemble lounge - Vladamir was super nice and they had good Sancerre white wine.
The food was all spectacular. We had the MDR 6 nights and our waiter, Ravi, was great. We also did Le Petit Chef @ Qsine, Murano, Lawn Club Grill and Tuscan Grill. All of the specialty restaurants were superb. We did not go to Sushi on 5 or The Porch, though the Porch looks very lovely.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
Pools were clean and they did a good job of picking up towels when people left them behind or were trying to reserve chairs. They did not see to have as many activities during the day. Even some more music by the pool or a DJ would have been nice. They seem to do 45 minutes and then disappear for hours.
At night, they had the silent disco twice, which is always a hit. The night club was not so hopping on this cruise. The Martini Bar is always buzzing.
Entertainment
4 out of 5
I only saw two shows this time. The Beatles tribute band, Hard Day's Night, was good but not spectacular and I have seen the before on another cruise. The production performance with the acrobatics was pretty amazing. The main project show we saw on the Constellation over the summer, so we skipped it.
Service and Staff

100% wonderful. Everyone that works on the Celebrity Reflection was attentive, courteous, and always had a smile on their faces. They always go above and beyond to make you feel special.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
The ship is SUPER clean. I know this one will get a refresh in a few years and I think that the color scheme (maroon) is starting to look a bit tired, but the ship overall is in great condition.
Cabin / Stateroom
4 out of 5
The cabin location was fine. We were port forward and were two decks above the main deck and you could see the bridge from our balcony. We have never really sailed in a forward cabin before and I actually preferred the motion of the ship. The room layout is great and there is a lot of storage space. The bathroom design is also great with the shower that has doors and not a nasty curtain.
Only issue with this particular room was that at around 6am, you could hear a lot of noise from the hallway (from in the middle where there must be some crew area). It sounded like they were moving furniture.
Overall, this is a standard veranda room, just I would pick a different one due to noise. Our stateroom attendant, Sandra, was also very great.
Ship tip
Try the world class bar. It's kind of hidden by the shops on 5, but the drinks are great craft cocktails. They only serve what is on their menu. Many people did not even know it existed because it is kind of hidden. The Ensemble Lounge is also great for a drink before dinner as they usually had live music. The guitar soloist, Danny Smart, was Amazing.
We did an amazing half-day catamaran snorkel and beach adventure. We went to a reef and snorkeled for about an hour and then they served rum punch and they dropped us out on a stunning beach for about 45 minutes. It was rather windy, so they couldn't stay on shore.
After the catamaran, we walked around the village and had lunch and a few drinks and then headed back to the ship.
Second time here. We went to Boatyard beach and for $25 each you get unlimited use of their facilities - chairs, umbrellas, one free drink and you can also use their pier and play on the water equipment. They also provide free transportation back to the port, so it was $25 well spent. We also had lunch next door at Lobster Alive and it was spectacular!
First time in St. Lucia and did not know what to expect. WOW! Such a beautiful, green and lush volcanic island. We took a boat ride to the Pitons for some amazing views and then spent about 2 hours at a beautiful black sand beach, followed by about an hour in Marigot to walk around. It was a great day and completely unexpected!
Second time here. Took a Taxi to Shipwreck Beach. Great place with a Caribbean vibe. Not super commercial. If you have drinks and food, they will let you use chairs and a palapa for free. They also had a floating barge and you can rent snorkel gear. Food and drink were good as last time and the ladies that work there are very friendly.
St. Maarten never disappoints. Went to Orient Beach (not the nude side) to Bikini beach. For $30 per couple we could rent two nicely padded chairs and an umbrella and they had drink and food service. We opted to eat lunch up in the restaurant. Water was wonderfully blue.
Off the ship in a snap promptly at 9am when they called our number. The new Terminal 25 is very nice and efficient and it is easy to catch rideshare from this location.
