We have wonderful memories of the family vacation on this cruise and the whole experience. Definitely worth it!

Embarkation

Went smoothly and efficiently!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
We did not go to specialty restaurants but were very happy with dining room and buffets. Good variety and quality, there were a few nights toward the end that did not offer a good choice but we found something we were satisfied with in the end.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Pools and hot tubs, comedy shows, and Persion Garden Spa were great. No active things like rock climbing or surfing,

Entertainment

3 out of 5
This cruise had a good comedian and a wonderful female singer with some comedy sprinkled in it but the wonderful Cirque Du Soleil show on Equinox was now mixed with a production show that did not look good to us so we didn't go. Not much for younger people.

Children's Programs

Did not use, adult children

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Celebrity always has the best service and staff...friendly, efficient, and go out of their way to make you happy.

Ship Quality

Very clean in all areas.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
We traveled with our two adult children so we had an inside and balcony room. I actually ended up enjoying the inside room almost more because it had more room! The balcony is great for views and knowing when it is morning. Both were clean and beds comfortable.

Ship tip

Buy classic beverage package and drink lots of water! All the salt in food caused me to retain water and feet to swell. I wish they had more waste cans in public areas and also a designated area to return dirty dishes when not taken to a table.

Ports of call

Ft. Lauderdale (Port Everglades), Florida

5 out of 5
Wonderful community, we love Ft. Lauderdale! Traffic heavy.

St. John's, Antigua

Kids ziplined but otherwise not much there to do. People were friendly.

Bridgetown, Barbados

4 out of 5
Had been there before and love the people and cleanliness of island. Wanted to do more beaches this time but unusually high waves closed most beaches that day.

Castries, St. Lucia

5 out of 5
Beautiful mountainous port, loved the scenery and mud baths experience! We had a wonderful tour guide named Marvin from St Lucia Real Tours, tours done by local staff. He was courteous, friendly, and willing took many pictures for us. This was one of our favorite ports for rustic beauty. I don't know if they have beaches worth going to.

Philipsburg, St. Maarten

5 out of 5
We have also been to St Maarten before the hurricane, it is sad to see the damage but it was still our favorite port. Orient Beach and the French side have not been fixed up much so we did not go. The Dutch side still shows damaged roofs and closed businesses and hotels but the beaches Maho and Simpson Bay as well as on the boardwalk are great! The people and fun atmosphere are still wonderful and worth the trip.

Disembarkation

4 out of 5
Even though my son was detained due to a diet supplement from GNC it was still efficient and fast, the people we encountered from customs were friendly and made us feel as comfortable about the process as possible, even though I wish there was a place to wait for family members when one is detained.
