Review summary

My girlfriend and I loved our stateroom with the balcony. We were also very impressed by the selection of food including plenty of healthy options and the different ethic cuisines offered. (The deserts offered were also amazing although I had only a tiny sampling since I don't want to look like the majority of your passengers----that is to say overweight!) It did get rather crowded around meal times but we figured that out early on and avoided the peak times. We were also very impressed with the service and attentiveness of your crew both in the dining area as well as the other areas of the ship.

The boarding process was tedious but considering that there are thousands of passengers, the process was quite efficient. We also appreciated the security measures you provided even though it was slightly inconvenient.

We are already signed up for another cruise but since you are asking for honest and frank feedback, I will describe what we did not appreciate.

1. The fee for using an internet connection. This struck us as very petty and we were, to be honest, very irritated. I have not been in a shop, hotel or restaurant in the past 10 years that does not provide it. My suggestion is to simply offer free internet and slightly increase the rooms rates.

We also did NOT like being hounded on the first two days on board by people offering all kinds of discounts and "deals". It was annoying! It reminded me of going into a Souk in Morocco were merchants keep pestering to buy their merchandise.

We also believe that you should be more explicit concerning the fact passengers will be spending considerably more than the initial  booking. For example, it would be a pity not to take advantage of the tours when the ship docks. But the cost of doing so at each port adds up. And tips add up too!

We also heard that some members of your staff work 10 our days 7 days a week. If that is true, that is excessive to say the least! I guess that explains why the entire staff is not from America since Americans would not tolerate that.

But let me reiterate that my girlfriend and I will be back on one of your ships. Your organizational skills are superb! We also heard from several veteran cruisers that Celebrity is the best. Congratulations!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Unbelievably great selection! Food was fresh and tasty!

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
My girlfriend and I always retire early so I really can't judge those activities.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
My girlfriend and I go to bed early so we missed most of the nocturnal entertainment and therefore cannot judge it.

Children's Programs

We didn't have any children.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Your entire staff is overwhelming excellent.

Ship Quality

The Refection is wonderful! Obsessive-compulsively clean! (that's a compliment)

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Absolutely NO complaints! They were omnipresent and did a great job!

Ship tip

The views throughout the voyage were spectacular! We loved it.

Ports of call

Miami, Florida

3 out of 5
Miami is a great city. But we were there only for the cruise this time.

Cozumel, Mexico

5 out of 5
The beach there was very nice and a great introduction to the cruise.

George Town, Grand Cayman

5 out of 5
The island was beautiful, clean and oh, so Caribbean.

Falmouth, Jamaica

3 out of 5
There was no opportunity (as far as we could tell) to really visit Jamaica. Would have liked to visit Montigo Bay. But we were warned by other passengers that the landing was unsafe and that drug hustlers would bother us.
