Review summary
An amazing and wonderful ship. Nicely appointed with classy lines, subtle wood framing, and a hint of glitz here and there. Not gaudy; just classy.
The food in the buffet was the best I have ever experienced in any of my four cruises and even the coffee was decent, which I was beginning to think was a cruise inconvenience we all had to put up with. The dinners could have been better, but certainly not unacceptable.
Cabin was small and the beds could have been more comfortable, but we slept well and did not wake up with any stiff necks or aching backs.
Shore excursions were exceptional. As for entertainment, we don't do that because the balcony is so relaxing, the weather so comfortable, and the sea is so serene. That's where we spend our evenings.
Not a noisy crowd on the ship; mostly older folks like my wife and myself.
Overall, Celebrity is the way to go, but Princess, our other line, is also a good one. We will be loyal to both of these lines and simply look for the best situation and best deal if the two lines compete for the same voyage.
