Review summary
Overall is was a wonderful cruise experience. The ship was beautiful. The staff was excellent. The ship was very clean.
The food quality was overall excellent and very gourmet especially in the specialty restaurants. We ate the majority of our meals in Blu. We loved the easy accessibility to the restaurant as an AquaSpa guest. I am concerned that they are abolishing the Aqua Spa Suites. We always do suites when we cruise. We would sorely hate loss of easy access to Blu. Wonder in the new suites only restaurant, Luminae, will have a similar healthy menu option?
The Oceanview cafe was subpar. Food was lukewarm to cold. Variety was good, but cold food doesn't taste good! Also salad items appeared wilted. Would expect more from a luxury cruise line!
Did not like the pool chair arrangement. Too many chairs packed together. Didn't like chairs facing each other. Felt like you had to climb over people to get on your chairs!
Guest entertainers were excellent! Production shows were ok. The first sow was awkward. the acrobatic dancers and 80's rock did not appear to meld well. Any chance of having comedy all week long?
Musical ensembles and DJ's were great. Liked the traveling club concept! Would like a Latin dancing venue somewhere on the ship!
Spa and Persian Garden were excellent. Services divine. Did not push products. Large fitness facility with many machines. Liked the cold towels!!
The butler experience was subpar. As a suite guest, I had expected more from the butler. Reviews stated the butler would make your cruise experience more unique and memorable by doing special things for you. Not ours. He did not do more than a stateroom attendant. He really did not do more than his perfunctory duties of cleaning the room and bring in afternoon canapés. I asked for cappuccino the first day. Where was it the rest of the week? He never offered to unpack or pack like it was written on your website. No chocolates on your pillow at night. He didn't even give instructions for debarkation. I had to call him to get the details!! That's crazy! It was not worth the hype or the extra money!
Lastly, debarkation. I liked the VIP/suite line for embarkation. Why is there no similar line in debarkation? As a suite guest, you expect more for your money and in general you deliver but no special service at the end puts a damper to end of your vacation. It would be nice get off and move through smoothly through customs with bags in a separate area than the general carousel and a special line through customs.
Again great cruise and will most likely try the line again but would consider the improvements!

Thank you for posting your review. We cruised the Reflection in an Aqua Suite last year. Our experience with the butler was the polar opposite from your own. I am sorry you did not enjoy a more engaged butler.
