Review summary

what we observed was...the ship & its staff were not fully prepared for the newly solsticized voyage

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
music in Blu (choice & volume) was the only unfavorable aspect of our dining experiences, confirmed by many other passengers

Entertainment

5 out of 5
select entertainment -- Full Tilt & all cooking/baking demonstrations--chef Bruno : ) were superb!!!

Service and Staff

3 out of 5
part of the crew seemed to have the 'solstice' mind set, the rest of them not so much, this was confirmed by part of your managing staff

Ship Quality

1 out of 5
- layout of ship was chopped-up, no flow or continuity - some decks weren't available/accessible at times -- still under construction/maintenance - wooden lounge chairs (no padding) in solarium extremely uncomfortable! - cleanliness of ship inside & out was sub-par - decks, esp. around pools were extremely slippery - many doors did not latch appropriately, i.e. bathrooms (both stateroom & public)

Cabin / Stateroom

1 out of 5
- holes in the sheets & pillowcases - stains on sheets & pillowcases - new aqua class staterooms, again, in our opinion were unprepared (bottled water, tea, pillow menu, etc. was not initiated by attendant)

Pros: being out to sea; panama transit & the Blu w/ all its staff

Cons: the un-preparedness of staff & condition of ship

Recommends Celebrity Millennium? No.
