Celebrity Millennium

5 Night Western Caribbean (Miami Roundtrip)

Sail date: March 19, 2012

Ship: Celebrity Millennium

Cabin type: Oceanview

Traveled as: Couple

Reviewed: 12 years ago

Review summary

Overall, the ship was in need of some basic repairs such as floor, rail, and table refinishing along with repairs to parts throughout the ship that were cracked or damaged. However, it didn't take away from the cruise. As I understand it, the ship was being taken out of service in a couple weeks for rehab so it was also noticed by Celebrity.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The food in the Mediterranean was awesome especially on the formal night. It was extremely well presented, served in a timely fashion and with a very professional staff. I liked the Select Dining option as it provided greater flexibility with our schedules and kept us relaxed as we didn't have to meet any kind of dining schedule while on the cruise.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
No complaints. The variety and quality for the events we attended was very good. We enjoyed all of them!

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The staff were also awesome, friendly and attentative to all our needs.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
Ship needed some basic repairs in the main service areas.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Maylene our stateroom attendant was awesome. She kept the room clean and took care of my wife as she became sick during our Honduras stop over. Maylene was very sweet and caring as she gave some motherly advice to help.

Pros: The food served in the main dining room (The Mediterranean)

Cons: The cost of drinks (way too expensive for what you got)

Recommends Celebrity Millennium? No.
