Review summary

This ship is beautiful! it was very elegant and had pieces of art scattered everywhere around the ship! The staff was great, especially our dinner staff, they were so friendly, and by the second evening remembered to bring extra bread baskets to our hungry table haha. It was great having the staff waiting with cold towels and drinks on the way back to the ship after the days of walking in the heat. The staff paid attention to little details that made all the difference. Our ports of call were Falmouth, Jamaica and Georgetown, Grand Cayman, which is one of my all times favorite ports. There is so much to see in Grand Cayman, but we decided to get a tour from the port rather than one of the ship's shore excursions, and it ended up being so much cheaper. The only things that bothered us were the added fees that were tacked on to 90% of the activities (as a college student on a budget, I refuse to pay $30 to play bingo), and how hard they pushed for pictures. There was too much picture-taking going on and the pictures were pricy ($19.95 per picture). however the photography staff was very professional, and we did get some great formal pictures to give our families out of it.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The food was AMAZING! great variety for every kind of picky eater. High quality cuts of meat and seafood at dinner, and the buffet had a very wide selection of different cuisines.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
The shows were great, other activities could have been better. This ship is obviously geared towards an older crowd, but since it was spring break there were many college students and young families on the ship, but not a lot to do for these ages. The only activities that really interested us were the movies, bingo, and cocktail tasting, but we had to pass on the last two because they cost money (as did most of the other activities).

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
our staff was great! Our waiters at dinner were extremely nice and helpful, and every request was fulfilled. Our housekeeper was very nice too, he knew exactly who we were and what room we stayed in and always said hello. there was one day he forgot to make our bed and he acknowledged that and was so apologetic.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
beautiful ship.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
we got an inside stateroom and I was SO impressed! the room was bigger than any inside stateroom i've had before, and very well decorated.

Pros: great food, nice ports of call

Cons: added fees on lots of activities, lack of activities for younger crowd.
