Review summary

Embarkation: late for about 2 hours, due to a death in the previous sailing.Rooms were great! We had a window cabin, refrigerator, buit-ins in the bathroom, robes, and all the amenities described in the ship. can't complain. The room steward was always on call with a cell phone in the event you needed something. Food service- very limited!! Buffets always on very slim choices for the diet concious guests. Coffee machines always on the cleaning mode!! If you would go on a tour and came back around 3pm the only choice of food you would have is to stand in line for thick crust pizza. Room service would take around 40 minutes. At 4pm there is tea and frozen yogurt (but you must stand in line)shows- theater is beautiful and broadway shows were very good. Comedian was funny and acrobat guy also.-due to the fact that this was a holiday cruise there were lots of groups, families, etc.. with lot's fo kids.My daughter who is 14 came bck to the cabin every night at 4am. She said she had the best time.-dining room service- extremely slow. The night of the baked alaska and lobster we did not get our lobster until the waiter finished dancing with his baked alaska. We did complain to the hotel service manager, but nothing happened.Service by the pool - terrible!!! No one cleans the hamburger plates lying arounf for 2 to 3 hours. If you want an additional cup of coffee get up and get it, because the help is not getting for you. The only thing they would do it carry your tray to a table so you would not spill all over and they would have to clean up.The ship had first class passengers!!!The martini bar (platinum bar) had the best bartender. SUDI- he knows how to make great drinks. Luckily we had a large group of 18 and we just laughed. This summer we will do a med cruise and will return to princess. We love that line!! First time and possibly the last with Celebrity. We just wanted to see what was the difference between Celebrity and Princess. One last note- our group was one of the last ones to leave the ship in Fort Lauderdale and for the first time in my life ( that i remember at least), I forgot my Louis Vuitton purse on the ship. I was carrying an overnite bag, talking and my bag was left behind. I was allowed back to the ship with some personal escort, and luckily my bag was at guest services intact!!! That I call luck.-I hated having to pay for movies in the cabin tv. Princess does not nickel and dime you!!!
