Review summary
We are long-time cruisers and Elite-Plus with Celebrity, our cruise line of choice! We liked the itinerary and really enjoyed transiting the Panama Canal. We have come to expect a lot of Celebrity as they have shown in the past their cruises were top-value with really great service. This one highlighted what we have noticed the past couple years, that being a decline in premium service. We travel Concierge Class. so we do expect a little more. It seems evident that the staff has been reduced. Used to, we could be out of the cabin for 30 minutes in the morning and it would be cleaned, this time we could be out for hours and still not serviced. The dining room was even slower with much longer waits for server, longer times between courses, and the staff less pleasant and clearly more stressed. Also, the quality and selections of buffet food has declined greatly. Maybe it is just a sign of the times and not having cruised with other lines in a long time, do not know if it is industry wide.Overall, the cruise was very good with good excursions and great production shows. We have been on the Infinity several times and it is hanging in there! We will still cruise with Celebrity, but we have been somewhat disappointed of late!
