Review summary

Galaxy was just refurbished in preperation for being sold in spring 2009 and is in great shape for a ship her age. Also, despite being on Celebrity's hit list, the level of service did not suffer at all.

Rent a car and go to the little visited mountains on the far side of the island...beautiful, undeveloped, and easy to do in a full day port call.

The 8-mile cliff walk between the port and neighboring village takes about 2.5 hours, and then you can taxi or bus back.... very strenous, but spectacular! And you're unlikely to see any fellow passangers for the only time on a cruise!
