Really great time. Ship was only half full, and all activities were not available, but there was plenty to do. Good variety of bars and places to hang out. Might the feel be different with a full ship. Of course it would be more crowded but with more activities I think ship would still be nice. We have been on full cruises before; I think they could handle it
Embarkation
5 out of 5
Due to covid cases the cruise before ours, they delayed start of embarkation an hour. Once they started it went very quickly, partly because cruise was only just over 50% capacity. Terminal 25 was very nice.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining

Loved the main dining hall. Excellent food and service was impeccable. Buffet (cafe) was pretty good but nothing memorable. Also wasn’t anything wrong with it and of course it was quick. Cafe was served to guests, obviously a covid mitigation measure.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
Fitness center was very nice. Many of the fitness classes were cancelled right as cruise started, supposedly because instructors were not available due to prior cruise illness. Had a lot of fun with silent discos, Abba and Queen sing alongside, and taking some intro ballroom dance classes. There were enough activities still available to fill 2 sea days.
What the ship does lack is athletic and active activities. No rock climbing walls, water slides, wave boarding - that kind of thing. Instead bocce ball and golf putting. All depends on what you are looking for! What they have is great.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
High expectations for service and staff, and Equinox easily met it. Photographers were great - had no plans to buy pictures but did because they put us at ease and captured great shots. Room Steward was wonderful - friendly and aware of our patterns quickly, he always had things in top shape.
Ship Quality

Recently remodeled Equinox is very elegant and easy to get around in.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
It is an interior cabin. The shower was a bit larger than I expected. Whole room of course does not have a lot of space but is well designed to make use of what is there.
No noise from other areas - far from loud places both beside or above/below.
This was our first cruise in an interior - past cruises we have done balcony. We became empty nesters over the covid no-cruise time, so we thought it would be time to see if 6 nights in an interior was ok or not. (Kids had gone on prior cruises and room had been central hangout place) We were really good with it. Enough space and we could easily hang out on deck or around pool if we wanted to see the ocean.
Disembarkation

Very quick and well organized. We took an Everglades excursion to airport. That was well run.
